Pam Patterson is a Senior Instructional Technologist at Yale University,
where she supports faculty in their use of digital media and other
technologies in their teaching and research. A member of the
Instructional Technology Group for eight years, her specialties include
the design and support of online collaborative collections of images,
audio and video, workflows for the creation of digital assets, and
instruction in web technologies. She recently led the formation of a
campus-wide program that recruits and trains students to partner with
faculty on the development of innovative technology-enhanced resources
for education. In close collaboration with the Yale University Library,
the Center for Language Studies, and other campus groups, she provides
broad support for the use of web-based resources in teaching and
