Instructors who need to incorporate video into their classroom presentations can take advantage of the latest digital video technologies to facilitate their presentation. Several options are available:

compile short video clips onto a DVD for easy navigation
embed video clips into a PowerPoint or Keynote presenation
"stream" video clips from a server

Podcasting

“Podcast” is a derivative of either Playable On Demand and broadcast or iPod and broadcast. It is a serialized broadcast that is downloaded from the Internet. What distinguishes a podcast from individual audio files that can be downloaded is the ability to subscribe to a podcast.
